Dental Nurses

Fiona Anderson

Fiona qualified in 2006 and joined our team in October 2008. Since joining us she has been working with most of our specialists, has quickly settled into the centre and has become an important part of the team. Fiona has attended a number of courses and has gained her Childsmile Certificate at Glasgow Dental Hospital & School. She has an interest in making the clinic friendly for children as well as adults. Fiona also has had annual CPR training since 2004. Effective in both dental nursing and administration, she will help make your visit at the clinic as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Belinda Cahill

Belinda trained and worked in general dentistry in Jersey for eight years. She qualified in 2000 at Guy’s Hospital, London where she also attended their sedation course. Originally from Ireland, Belinda travelled and worked in Australia for two years. She joined our team in June 2006, working mainly with Mr Ali as one of his nurses and implant coordinators.

Lesley Chalmers

Lesley has been our longest serving nurse. She has wide experience in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in endodontics. She assists Mark Lang in providing the very highest standards of care for their patients and her high dedication is much valued by all our patients. Her skills also include nurse training. With her quick wit and great sense of humour she is a great asset to all the team.

Claire Sweeney

Claire joined our team in January 2008 as a trainee dental nurse. She is currently studying for her National Certificate in Dental Nursing. Claire has proved to be an asset to our team, working with most of our Dentists and Specialists and her secretarial skills have been a great advantage.

Lisa Twaddle

Lisa has worked as one of our valued nurses since 2001, after training in General Practice for two years. She qualified in 2000 and is registered with the GDC. Lisa mainly works alongside Alan Maxwell and also assists with our other Specialists. Lisa helps out with secretarial duties and reception tasks, putting her administration qualifications to use. She can always be seen with an infectious smile on her face.

Fiona Wylie

Fiona qualified from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1999. She joined our dental nursing team in October 2005 as a restorative nurse. Fiona has gained experience working with Mr Ali and our reception team and moved on to become Dr Faqir’s nurse and implant coordinator. Fiona is known for her jolly nature and as well as being well organised. To widen her knowledge of implant dentistry, Fiona attended the Nobel Biocare World Tour in London in 2006 and the ADI conference in May 2007.
