Reception

We see patients for a wide range of treatments and, because all patients and their needs are unique, your exact journey with us will depend on your individual circumstances and what treatment you require. However, our mission statement, "Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry is committed to providing quality care and excellence" applies to all patients at all times, no matter why you've come to see us.

From the first time you contact the Centre, you will be welcomed in a friendly, caring and professional manner. Our aim is to ensure that you experienced the highest levels of patient care and service from the start of your journey, and we work hard to make your experience relaxing and free from stress.

We understand that many people have busy lives and we will strive to arrange appointments at the most convenient time for you, working around your needs. When you reach the end of your journey with us, we want you to feel satisfied, rewarded and that your treatment has been completely worthwhile.

Before your first appointment, we will send you out a New Patient Welcome Pack and an appointment card confirming your consultation time. We also send out text or email reminders 24 hours before your appointment. If you have any additional questions prior to your appointment, please telephone 0141 427 4530 and we will do our best to answer them.

At all times we will listen to your dental problems and concerns and will endeavour to give you an explanation and solution to any issues, as well as allaying any fears you may have.

Your safety and wellbeing is our greatest concern at all times, and we will always follow the latest cross-infection guidelines. We will also do everything we can to run on time at all appointments.

After your initial consultation we will provide you with a written treatment plan, including estimated costs and timings. You will be kept informed of progress at all stages of treatment, and should we have to alter your treatment plan we will inform you immediately and ensure you fully understand and agree with any changes.

We want you to be completely satisfied with the outcome at the end of treatment, so please do ask questions or raise any concerns you have at any time. Our goal is for every patient to feel welcome and happy at all times during treatment, so do give us any feedback you may have so that we can respond positively to any issues that may arise.
