Sachin graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2002 and is a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School. He is listed on the GDC Specialist Registers for Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics.
His hospital work involves providing specialist advice and treatment for patients referred by dentists and other consultants. A major part of his role is the oral rehabilitation of patients following head and neck cancer treatment, working closely with maxillofacial colleagues. His clinical work also includes the management of complex restorative, periodontal, prosthodontic, endodontic and implant-related cases.
Sachin completed specialist training in Restorative Dentistry and achieved the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry (ISFE) in 2009. He is an examiner for the Royal Colleges, examining at MFDS, MRD Periodontics and ISFE level, and is a former Training Programme Director for Restorative Dentistry in the West of Scotland.
At Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry, Sachin offers specialist opinions, treatment planning and complex restorative dental care, including multidisciplinary cases and advice for patients referred by colleagues.
Outside dentistry, Sachin enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen golfer.
