Deputy Practice Manager

Beth began her dental career in 2019 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2020. Since then, she has progressed from dental nursing to treatment coordinating and was later promoted to Deputy Practice Manager. Beth is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and supporting her team. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Helen Bain

Receptionist

Helen has been a dental receptionist for 12 years both in Scotland and in Northern Ireland

She enjoys interacting with the patients and being part of their journey

In her free time, she is loves being active. She partakes in activities such as water sports and hill walking.

Judy Mclaughlin

Receptionist

Judy Began her career in dentistry straight from school in 1991 working as both nurse/reception staff remaining in the same practice for 27years.

She then changed career and worked as a Complex Needs Practitioner for 2 years but returned to Dentistry & joined SCED in Dec 2020 as receptionist.

Out with work Judy loves spending time with her partner & her 3 grown up children.

Sheree Simpson

Secretary

Sheree joined Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry in July 2016 as Secretary and PA. She brings several years' experience as an NHS Medical Secretary to the busy team at Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry.

Sheree also has an HND in Fitness, Health and Exercise and is a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer. In her spare time, she enjoys training in the gym or walking in the Scottish Highlands.

Erin qualified as a dental nurse in July 2014 and joined Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry in February 2016. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping fit.

Lesley Chalmers

Dental Nurse

Lesley has been our longest serving nurse. She has wide experience in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in endodontics. She assists Mark Lang in providing the very highest standards of care for their patients and her high dedication is much valued by all our patients. Her skills also include nurse training. With her quick wit and great sense of humour she is a great asset to all the team.

Lisa qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2000 and soon joined the team at SCED in 2001.

Lisa originally worked as a Dental Nurse in Periodontist/ Orthodontist but has evolved into the dual receptionist/secretary role that affords a better work/life balance.

Lisa is highly skilled at dealing with patient queries and appointments’ as her Dental Nurse background affords her years of experience and our patients love her calming yet friendly voice when they call.

Outside the practice Lisa is a busy mum of three who is kept on her toes! She loves nothing better than family time with her beautiful children and husband Barry.

Fiona Wylie

Dental Nurse

Fiona qualified from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1999. She joined our dental nursing team in October 2005 as a restorative nurse. Fiona has gained experience working with Mr Ali and our reception team and moved on to become Dr Faqir's nurse and implant coordinator. Fiona is known for her jolly nature and as well as being well organised. To widen her knowledge of implant dentistry, Fiona attended the Nobel Biocare World Tour in London in 2006 and the ADI conference in May 2007.
