Dermal fillers in Glasgow

We use a dermal filler called hyaluronic acid (HA), which is something that already naturally occurs in the body – in fact about 50 percent of the body’s HA is found in the skin. As we age the levels of HA decrease and our skin loses hydration, causing classic signs of ageing. HA dermal fillers are a popular option to support the skin’s structures and moisture, effectively delaying these classic signs of ageing.

Procedure

HA can restore lost volume in the cheeks, nose, between the eyebrows and around the mouth, as well as address deep lines and wrinkles. 

At Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry we will discuss with you an agreed and personalised treatment plan to achieve the look you envision and your treatment will be tailored to you. The procedure is straightforward and consists of a few small injections to administer the filler. We apply an anaesthetic cream and the whole procedure for HA dermal fillings will take between half an hour to an hour, while the effects can last from a few months to a couple of years.
